Mint Garnet is basically a very light to medium-light green garnet that comes from the Merelani region of Tanzania. This gem can also be found near Kenya and a close cousin to the Tsavorite Garnet, which has a deeper green color. This gem has a shocking secret of color shift from green to fluorescent pink or orange color under UV light.
